RETURNED GOODS
All manufacturers have now passed a very strict code regarding returned goods. Please read this document very carefully as we are unable to deviate from the statement below.Errors in picking items or incorrect items sent
These items must be in then- original packing and 100% resaleable then a credit note will be given. (N.B. supplied by The Bathroom Studio).Baths
All baths and shower trays, when delivered, must be inspected there and then, whilst our driver is present. Any damaged items will be returned and replaced. We cannot accept any items for returns that are alleged damaged after they have been signed for.Faulty Goods
Goods that are returned alleged damaged or faulty will be assessed by our staff on arrival at our premises, this is due to manufacturers becoming more strict on what they consider is acceptable for credit. Items with obvious manufacturing faults will be passed for credit immediately but any cases where we feel we may not receive credit from the manufacturer will be held pending their inspection and you will be notified of the outcome in due course. Please ensure that all items are returned with their original packing, whatever the reason for return. Items that did not originate from The Bathroom Studio or have suffered obvious impact damage will be returned to you on the next available lorry.Please notify us of a fault as soon as the problem is discovered. It is your responsibility to check for faults before products are installed. We cannot accept for return any product that has a visible fault if it has been installed.
All faulty goods returned to us will be put aside for inspection by the manufacturers representatives. Items that are not passed for credit will be returned to you for disposal.
Please advise us if you have a fitted W.C. pan, or bidet, that is faulty. We do not collect pans that have been fitted. We will advise the manufacturer of the problem and in most cases a credit will be given.
Damaged products
Whenever possible, check all goods upon delivery and return obviously damaged items with our driver. All goods should be examined within three days of delivery and damage should be reported to us within that time.It is the end users responsibility to report all damage before installation.
We cannot accept any damaged products for return after the installation process has begun. In the case of baths, no credit will be given after the legs and grips have been fitted.
There will continue to be no question over returning items that we may have sent to you incorrectly but we must advise you that we will be more strict in the future over goods being returned that are simply not wanted or are alleged damaged or faulty.
We will continue to operate a restocking charge of 20% for genuinely unwanted goods that have been purchased within the last month, in a resaleable condition, with all original packing then a credit note will be given.
